حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنبأ سَيَّارٌ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي امْرَأَةِ الْمَفْقُودِ: «إِنْ جَاءَ الْأَوَّلُ فَهِيَ امْرَأَتُهُ وَلَا خِيَارَ لَهُ، وَكَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ» . قَالَ هُشَيْمٌ: وَهُوَ الْقَوْلُ
Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If the missing husband returns, the woman is still his wife, and she has no choice in the matter."
