Hadith 2876

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا أَشْعَثُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي الْحَرَامِ: «إِنْ نَوَى طَلَاقًا فَهِيَ طَالِقٌ، وَإِنْ نَوَى يَمِينًا فَهِيَ يَمِينٌ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If the intention is of divorce, then it is divorce, and if the intention is of an oath, then it is an oath."
