Hadith 2853

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، فِي رَجُلٍ قَالَ لِامْرَأَتِهِ: أَنْتِ طَالِقٌ الْبَتَّةَ، قَالَ: «هِيَ وَاحِدَةٌ، وَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا»
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "When someone says: 'You are indeed divorced (tu talaq al-battah hai),' then this is one divorce, and the husband has more right to take her back."
