بَابُ الرَّجُلِ يَجْعَلُ أَمْرَ امْرَأَتِهِ بِيَدِهَاChapter on a man giving his wife the right to decide
Hadith 2799

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: «إِذَا خَيَّرَ الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ فَطَلَّقَتْ نَفْسَهَا ثَلَاثًا فَهِيَ وَاحِدَةٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him): "When a man gives his wife the right of choice and the wife pronounces three divorces, it will be counted as only one divorce."
