بَابُ الرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ لِامْرَأَتِهِ: قَدْ وَهَبْتُكِ لِأَهْلِكِChapter on a man saying to his wife: I have given you to your family
Hadith 2778

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الْكَلَاعِيِّ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، قَالَ: «إِنْ قَبِلُوهَا فَهِيَ تَطْلِيقَةٌ، وَهُوَ أَمْلَكُ بِهَا، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَقْبَلُوهَا، فَلَا شَيْءَ» .
Hazrat Mak'hool (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If the household accepts, then one divorce will take place and the husband will have more right to her, and if they do not accept, then nothing will happen.
