Hadith 2759

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: «إِذَا كَانُوا أَرْبَعَةً فَقَدْ أَحْرَزُوا ظُهُورَهُمْ مِنَ الْحَدِّ، وَيُقَامُ عَلَيْهَا الْحَدُّ» قَالَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ: وَأنا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «يُلَاعِنُ الزَّوْجُ وَيُجْلَدُ الثَّلَاثَةُ»
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If there are four witnesses, they save themselves from the hadd, and the hadd will be imposed on the woman. Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The husband should perform li'an and the hadd will be imposed on all three.
