بَابُ الرَّجُلِ يُطَلِّقُ امْرَأَتَهُ ثُمَّ يَقْذِفُهَا فِي عِدَّتِهَاChapter: A man divorces his wife, then accuses her during her waiting period
Hadith 2751

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ، طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ قَذَفَهَا فِي الْعِدَّةِ قَالَ: «يُلَاعِنُهَا مَا كَانَتْ فِي الْعِدَّةِ فَإِذَا انْقَضَتِ الْعِدَّةُ جُلِدَ وَلَمْ يُلَاعِنْ»
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If someone gives his wife three divorces and accuses her during the waiting period, then he will perform li'an during the waiting period. If the waiting period ends, then the prescribed punishment will be carried out and li'an will not take place.
