بَابُ الرَّجُلِ يُطَلِّقُ الْمَرْأَةَ تَطْلِيقَةً أَوْ تَطْلِيقَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ تَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِ بَعْدَ زَوْجٍ عَلَى كَمْ تَكُونُ عِنْدَهُChapter: A man divorces his wife once or twice, then she returns to him after marrying another—how many times does she have left with him?

حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّ زِيَادًا، سَأَلَ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ فَقَالَ: «هِيَ عَلَى مَا بَقِيَ» وَسَأَلَ شُرَيْحًا فَقَالَ: «يَهْدِمُ الدُّخُولُ الْأَخِيرُ طَلَاقَ الْأَوَّلِ» وَكَانَ عَامِرٌ يَأْخُذُ بِقَوْلِ شُرَيْحٍ
Hazrat Amir Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said that according to Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him), she remains upon the previous divorces, and according to Shurayh, there will be a new marriage and a new divorce, and Amir used to follow the statement of Shurayh.
