Hadith 2698

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا جُوَيْبِرٌ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ، قَالَ: اخْتَلَفَ فِيهِ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَالَ: آخِرُ الْأَجَلَيْنِ، فَقَالَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «أَجَلُ كُلِّ حَامِلٍ أَنْ تَضَعَ مَا فِي بَطْنِهَا»
Hazrat Dhahhak (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated that there was a difference among the Companions; some said: "The last of the two terms." Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): «أجل كل حامل أن تضع ما في بطنها»."
