Hadith 2674

حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا عُبَيْدَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: «مَا كَانَ لِلرَّجُلِ مِمَّا لَا يَكُونُ لِلنِّسَاءِ مِثْلُهُ فَهُوَ لِلرَّجُلِ، وَمَا كَانَ مِمَّا يَكُونُ لِلنِّسَاءِ مِمَّا لَا يَكُونُ لِلرَّجُلِ مِثْلُهُ فَهُوَ لِلْمَرْأَةِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مِمَّا يَكُونُ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ مِثْلُهُ فَهُوَ لِلْبَاقِي مِنْهُمَا»
Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: That which is specific to men belongs to the man, that which is specific to women belongs to the woman, and that which is shared between both, then whatever remains is for whoever it remains with.
