Hadith 2672

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، فِي رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ، أَوْ مَاتَ عَنْهَا وَقَدْ أَحْدَثَتْ فِي بَيْتِهِ أَشْيَاءَ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: «لَهَا مَا أَغْلَقَتْ عَلَيْهِ بَابَهَا إِلَّا سِلَاحَ الرَّجُلِ وَمُصْحَفَهُ»
Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, said that if a woman produces something in the house after the death or divorce of her husband, then she owns only that property over which she has locked the door, except for the husband's weapons and the Mushaf.
