قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ}His saying, Exalted is He: {O you who have believed, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you.}
Hadith 267

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، وَخَالِدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَفَسَّرَهَا، فَلَمَّا أَتَى عَلَى هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ قَرَأَ: { طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ } .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) recited Surah Al-Baqarah on the pulpit and explained its interpretation. When he reached this verse, he recited: «طَعَامُ مِسْكِينٍ».
