حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: حُدِّثْتُ أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ وَزَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ قَالَا: «لَا تَحِلُّ لَهُ حَتَّى تَنْكِحَ زَوْجًا غَيْرَهُ»
Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan and Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Until she marries another (man), she is not lawful for the previous husband.
