كتاب الطلاقBook of Divorce
وَقَالَ حَمَّادٌ: «لَيْسَ فِي مَالِهَا شَيْءٌ»And Hammad said: "There is nothing from her wealth."
Hadith 2632

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ، سَأَلَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ، طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ تَطْلِيقَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ اخْتَلَعَتْ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ: «لِيَنْكِحْهَا إِنْ شَاءَ، إِنَّمَا ذَكَرَ اللَّهُ الطَّلَاقَ فِي أَوَّلِ الْآيَةِ وَآخِرِهَا، وَالْخُلْعَ فِيمَا بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that: A man gave his wife two divorces, then separated from her through khul‘ (mutual divorce), so Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: If he wishes, he can marry her, because Allah has mentioned divorce at the beginning and end of the verse, and khul‘ in the middle.
