حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو وَكِيعٍ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: عَيَّرْنَا صَاعَ عُمَرَ فَوَجَدْنَاهُ حَجَّاجِيًّا ". قَالَ سَعِيدٌ: الْحَجَّاجِيُّ: مُدُّ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: We measured the Sa’ of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and it turned out to be a Hijazi measure. Sa’id said: The Hijazi is equal to the Mudd of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
