Hadith 2568

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو شِهَابٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، فِي امْرَأَةٍ بَلَغَهَا أَنَّ زَوْجَهَا مَاتَ , وَقَدْ أَنْفَقَتْ مَالَهُ قَالَ: «يُحْسَبُ مَا أَنْفَقَتْ مِنْ يَوْمِ مَاتَ زَوْجُهَا، وَيُجْعَلُ مِنْ نَصِيبِهَا»
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if a woman receives the news that her husband has passed away and she has spent some wealth, then the wealth she has spent will be counted from the day her husband passed away and it will be taken from her own share.
