Hadith 2543

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ عَنْ نِسَاءٍ، طُلِّقْنَ فِي الْقَنَاطِرِ، فَقَدِمْنَ الْكُوفَةَ، «فَأَمَرَهُنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمُ أَنْ يَرْجِعْنَ حَيْثُ طُلِّقْنَ يَعْتَدِدْنَ بِهَا»
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) instructed those women who, after being divorced in Qanatr, had come to Kufa: Complete your waiting period (iddah) in the place where the divorce took place.
