Hadith 2523

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: «الْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا لَا تَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْتِهَا إِلَّا فِي حَقٍّ، عِيَادَةِ الْمَرِيضِ، أَوْ ذِي قَرَابَةٍ، أَوْ أَمْرٍ لَا بُدَّ مِنْهُ، وَالْمُطَلَّقَةُ ثَلَاثًا مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ»
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A woman whose husband has passed away should not leave the house without necessity; she may only go out to visit a sick person or for a necessary task, and the same ruling applies to a woman who has been given three divorces.
