Hadith 2504

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: " خَالَفْتُ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْقُرَّاءِ الْأَوَّلِينَ فِي الرَّجُلِ يُطَلِّقُ امْرَأَتَهُ فَيَكْتُمُهَا رَجْعَتَهَا حَتَّى تَنْقَضِيَ عِدَّتُهَا، فَسَأَلْتُ شُرَيْحًا، فَقَالَ: لَهُ فَسْوَةُ الضَّبُعِ "
Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I disagreed with a reciter, then I asked Hazrat Shurayh (may Allah have mercy on him), so he said: There is nothing (wrong) in this matter.
