Hadith 25

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ قَالَ: نَا بَعْضُ أَشْيَاخِنَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ وَأَعْرَبَ بِقِرَاءَتِهِ، فَمَاتَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ - كَانَ كَالشَّهِيدِ الْمُتَخَبِّطِ فِي دَمِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ .
The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites the Qur'an and recites it with correct pronunciation, then dies in that state, he will be like the martyr who is covered in blood in the path of Allah."
