بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي خِيَارِ الْأَمَةِChapter: What is reported regarding the choice of a slave woman
Hadith 2442

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو عَلْقَمَةَ الْفَرْوِيُّ، قَالَ: نا نَافِعٌ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ: «أَيُّمَا أَمَةٍ كَانَتْ تَحْتَ عَبْدٍ فَأُعْتِقَتْ فَإَنَّ لَهَا الْخِيَارَ مَا لَمْ يَمَسَّهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: If a slave woman is married to a slave and then she is set free, then if the husband has not had intercourse with her, she has the right of choice.
