بَابُ الرَّجُلِ يُطَلِّقُ امْرَأَتَهُ فَتَحِيضُ ثَلَاثَ حِيَضٍ فَيَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْهُرَChapter: A man divorces his wife, she has three periods, and he enters upon her before she is purified

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «إِذَا حَاضَتِ الْمُطَلَّقَةُ الثَّالِثَةَ فَقَدْ بَرِئَتْ مِنْهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهَا لَا تَزَوَّجُ حَتَّى تَطْهُرَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: When a divorced woman experiences her third menstruation, she becomes separated from her husband, but purification before marrying again is necessary.
