قَالَ: وَقَالَ جَابِرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: «مِنْ يَوْمِ تُوُفِّيَ»He said: And Jabir ibn Zayd and Ibn Abbas said: "From the day he died."

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: «الْعِدَّةُ مِنْ يَوْمِ مَاتَ أَوْ يَوْمِ طَلَّقَ»
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) also said: The waiting period ('iddah) will be counted from the day of death or divorce.
