قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ لا إِلَهَ إِلا هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ * إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَالْفُلْكِ الَّتِي تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنْفَعُ النَّاسَ وَمَا أَنْـزَلَ اللهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ وَالسَّحَابِ الْمُسَخَّرِ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ لآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ}His saying, Exalted is He: {And your god is one God. There is no deity except Him, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. * Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason.}
Hadith 239
اُردوEn
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ: { وَإِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ لا إِلَهَ * إِلا هُوَ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ } تَعَجَّبَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ وَقَالُوا: إِلَهًا وَاحِدًا ! إِنْ كَانَ صَادِقًا فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِآيَةٍ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ: { إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ } إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: { لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ } .
Abu al-Duha (may Allah have mercy on him) said: When the verse ﴿And your god is one God; there is no deity except Him, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful﴾ was revealed, the polytheists were astonished and said: "Only one deity! If he is telling the truth, then let him bring us a sign." So Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed: ﴿Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the day... for a people who use reason﴾ up to that point.
