قَالَ: وَقَالَ جَابِرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: «مِنْ يَوْمِ تُوُفِّيَ»He said: And Jabir ibn Zayd and Ibn Abbas said: "From the day he died."
Hadith 2383

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، قَالَ: «تَعْتَدُّ مِنَ الطَّلَاقِ الْأَوَّلِ وَإِنْ رَاجَعَهَا مَا لَمْ يُجَامِعْهَا»
Hazrat Ata bin Abi Rabah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The waiting period (‘iddah) will be from the first divorce, whether reconciliation was made or not, as long as intercourse has not taken place.
