Hadith 2303

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: «إِذَا كَانَ الْمَجْنُونُ يُفِيقُ وَيَعْقِلُ جَازَ مَا صَنَعَ فِي إِفَاقَتِهِ مِنْ عِتْقٍ، أَوْ طَلَاقٍ، أَوْ حَدٍّ، أَوْ شِرًى»
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: If a madman regains his senses at times, then in the state of sanity his emancipation, divorce, punishment (hadd), and purchase are valid.
