أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُجَاهِدًا يَقُولُ: «فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِقِبَلِ عِدَّتِهِنَّ»، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: وَمَا سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ يَقُولُ فِي شَيْءٍ: سَمِعْتُ مُجَاهِدًا، إِلَّا فِي هَذَا
Hazrat Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) also said: "So divorce them at the commencement of their waiting period," and Sufyan said: I have not heard Ibn Jurayj narrate anything from Mujahid except in this matter.
