حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لَجَارِيَةٍ صَغِيرَةٍ: إِنْ تَزَوَّجْتُهَا فَهِيَ طَالِقٌ. فَشَبَّتْ فَرَغِبَ فِيهَا، فَتَزَوَّجَهَا، ثُمَّ إِنَّهُ وَقَعَ فِي نَفْسِهِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ لِي: سَلْ لِي عَنْ ذَلِكَ. فَلَقِيتُ عَامِرًا الشَّعْبِيَّ فَسَأَلْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: ائْتِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، فَإِنِّي تَرَكْتُهُ بِمَكَانِ كَذَا وَكَذَا، فَاسْأَلْهُ، ثُمَّ ارْجِعْ إِلَيَّ، فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِمَا يَقُولُ. قَالَ: فَلَقِيتُهُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ، فَذَكَرَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ أَوِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: «هِيَ كَمَا قَالَ»، قَالَ: فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَى عَامِرٍ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: صَدَقَ، هُوَ كَمَا قَالَ. فَلَقِيتُ الزَّوْجَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِالَّذِي قَالَا، فَأَتَى امْرَأَتَهُ فَأَخْبَرَهَا أَنَّهَا أَحَقُّ بِنَفْسِهَا، ثُمَّ خَطَبَهَا فَتَزَوَّجَهَا
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Qais (may Allah have mercy on him) that a man proposed marriage to a young girl and said that if he married her, she would be divorced. When she grew up and the marriage took place, Hazrat Amir Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) told him to ask Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him). Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from Alqama or Aswad (may Allah have mercy on them both) that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "What was said has taken effect."
