Hadith 2212

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: إِذَا قَالَ: " كُلُّ امْرَأَةٍ أَتَزَوَّجُهَا فَهِيَ عَلَيَّ كَظَهْرِ أُمِّي، كَفَّرَ عَنْ أَوَّلِ امْرَأَةٍ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا، وَإِذَا قَالَ: إِنْ تَزَوَّجْتُ فُلَانَةَ فَهِيَ عَلَيَّ كَظَهْرِ أُمِّي فَتَزَوَّجَهَا، فَلَا يَقْرَبْهَا حَتَّى يُكَفِّرَ "
Hazrat Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If someone says that every woman he marries is like his mother, then he must give expiation for the first woman. And if he says that if he marries such-and-such woman, she will be like his mother, then he should not have relations with her until he gives expiation."
