قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَذَا بَلَدًا آمِنًا وَارْزُقْ أَهْلَهُ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ مَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُمْ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ قَالَ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُ قَلِيلا ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُ إِلَى عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ}His saying, Exalted is He: {And [mention] when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits—whoever of them believes in Allah and the Last Day." He said, "And whoever disbelieves—I will grant him enjoyment for a little; then I will force him to the punishment of the Fire, and wretched is the destination."}
Hadith 218
اُردوEn
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: اسْتَرْزَقَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِأَهْلِ الْبَلَدِ لِمَنْ آمَنَ، قَالَ: { وَارْزُقْ أَهْلَهُ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ مَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُمْ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ } قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { وَمَنْ كَفَرَ } فَإِنِّي أَرْزُقُهُ أَيْضًا، أُمَتِّعُهُ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُ إِلَى عَذَابِ النَّارِ .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Our master Ibrahim (peace be upon him) prayed for sustenance for the people of the city, for those who believed, as he said: ﴿وَارْزُقْ أَهْلَهُ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ مَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُمْ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ﴾ So Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: ﴿وَمَنْ كَفَرَ﴾ I will also provide him with sustenance, grant him a little benefit, then I will drive him towards the punishment of the Fire.
