Hadith 2143

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ لِي امْرَأَةً وَجَارِيَةً، أَرْضَعَتْ هَذِهِ غُلَامًا، وَهَذِهِ جَارِيَةً , أَيَصْلُحُ لِلْغُلَامِ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ الْجَارِيَةَ؟ فَقَالَ: «لَا يَصْلُحُ، اللِّقَاحُ وَاحِدٌ»
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was asked: If a woman and a slave-girl both breastfed a slave, can that slave marry the slave-girl? Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: "No, because the milk of both is the same."
