بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَتَزَوَّجُ الْمَرْأَةَ فَتَمُوتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا أَوْ يُطَلِّقَهَا، هَلْ يَصْلُحُ لَهُ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ أُمَّهَاChapter: What is reported regarding a man marrying a woman, then she dies before consummation or he divorces her—can he marry her mother?
Hadith 2117

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ «أَنَّهُ رَخَّصَ فِي الرَّبِيبَةِ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ دَخَلَ بِأُمِّهَا، وَكَرِهَ الْأُمَّ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ»
Sayyiduna Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If there has been no intercourse with the mother, then the stepdaughter (rabibah) is permissible, but the mother is forbidden in every case."
