بَابُ الرَّجُلِ يَفْجُرُ بِالْمَرْأَةِ ثُمَّ يَتَزَوَّجُهَاChapter: A man commits fornication with a woman, then marries her

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ، نا أَبُو هِشَامٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَاكَ، فَقَالَ: «أَوَّلُهُ سِفَاحٌ، وَآخِرُهُ نِكَاحٌ» .
This same statement was also narrated by Sa'id bin Jubair (may Allah have mercy on him) from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): "The first act is fornication and the second is marriage."
