A man came to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and confessed to adultery. He said: "If you are a muhsan (married), you will be stoned." The man said: "I was married but had not consummated the marriage." So he (Ali) gave him one hundred lashes, separated him from his wife, and gave a portion of the dowry.

Brief Explanation
Hannash ibn al-Mu'tamir is trustworthy (saduq), but due to errors (awham) and mursal narrations, he is weak (Ibn Hajar). Al-Bukhari’s criticism (“they speak about his hadith”) further weakens him. Simak ibn Harb is trustworthy (saduq), but due to confusion (idtirab), his reliability is not complete. The lack of corroboration makes this narration weak (da'if).
