Hadith 20

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ نَبْهَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ خَيْرَكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ . وَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي، فَأَجْلَسَنِي مَجْلِسِي هَذَا، فَأَقْرَأَنِي .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best among you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took my hand, made me sit beside him, and taught me the Qur'an.
