فَضَائِلُ الْقُرْآنِVirtues of the Qur'an
Hadith 2

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نَا حُدَيْجُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: لَا يَضُرُّ الرَّجُلَ أَنْ لَا يَسْأَلَ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ إِلَّا الْقُرْآنَ، فَإِنْ كَانَ يُحِبُّ الْقُرْآنَ فَإِنَّهُ يُحِبُّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَرَسُولَهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "A person will not be harmed by not being asked about anything concerning himself, except the Qur'an. If he loves the Qur'an, then surely he loves Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)."
