Hadith 1940

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: «إِذَا اطَّلَعَ الرَّجُلُ مِنَ امْرَأَتِهِ عَلَى مَا لَا يَحِلُّ أَنْ يَطَّلِعَ عَلَيْهِ غَيْرُهُ فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الصَّدَاقُ وَالْعِدَّةُ»
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "When a husband sees in his wife that which it is not lawful for others to see, then the dowry and the waiting period become obligatory."
