Hadith 1930

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، «أَنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يَرَى بَأْسًا أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يُعْطِيَهَا شَيْئًا»
It is narrated from Hazrat Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) that he did not see any harm in not giving any part of the dowry before going to the wife.
