Hadith 1928

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، وَأنا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ «أَنَّهُمَا كَانَا لَا يَرَيَانِ بَأْسًا أَنْ يَدْخُلَ الرَّجُلُ بِامْرَأَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُعْطِيَهَا شَيْئًا»
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) and Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) both did not see any harm in not giving any part of the dowry before going to the wife.
