Hadith 1921

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ، قَالَ جَرِيرٌ: أُرَاهُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: «إِنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ لَيْسَ لَهُ شَيْءٌ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُدْخَلَ عَلَيْهِ امْرَأَتُهُ وَأَوْصَاهُمْ خَيْرًا، فَأَصَابَ الرَّجُلُ بَعْدُ حَتَّى صَارَ مِنْ أَشْرَافِ النَّاسِ»
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "A Muslim man had nothing, yet he married a woman. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that his wife be sent to him and advised them to treat each other well. Later, that man became wealthy and was counted among the nobles."
