حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ: أنا مُغِيرَةُ قَالَ: نا الشَّعْبِيُّ قَالَ: " تَزَوَّجَ أَحَدُ السِّتَّةِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الشُّورَى يَهُودِيَّةً، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: الزُّبَيْرُ هُوَ؟ قَالَ الشَّعْبِيُّ: إِنْ كَانَ لَكَرِيمَ الْمَنَاكِحِ "
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "One of the six companions of the Shura married a Jewish woman." I asked: "Was it Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him)?" He replied: "If it was him, then he was very honorable in marriages."
