حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ «أُتِيَ بِامْرَأَةٍ تَزَوَّجَتْ عَبْدَهَا فَعَاقَبَهَا وَفَرَّقَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِهَا، وَحَرَّمَ عَلَيْهَا الْأَزْوَاجَ عُقُوبَةً لَهَا»
It is narrated from Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) punished a woman for marrying a slave, and as a punishment, he also forbade her from marrying in the future.
