Hadith 1882

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي رَجُلٍ غَابَ عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ، فَتَزَوَّجَتْ ثُمَّ جَاءَ الْأَوَّلُ: فَقَالَ: «تَعْتَدُّ عِدَّةً وَاحِدَةً»
Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If a man becomes absent from his wife and the woman marries (another), then the first husband returns, the woman will observe only one waiting period ('iddah)."
