حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: نا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «إِذَا دَخَلَتْ عِدَّتَانِ فِي عِدَّةٍ أَجْزَأَتْهَا إِحْدَاهُمَا»
Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "When two waiting periods (iddahs) come together, the completion of one of them will suffice."
