بَابُ الْمَرْأَةِ تُزَوَّجُ فِي عِدِّتِهَاChapter: A woman marrying during her waiting period ('iddah)

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ «أَنَّ رَجُلًا تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً فَلَمَّا أَصَابَهَا وَجَدَهَا حُبْلَى فَرَفَعَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَفَرَّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا الصَّدَاقَ وَجَلَدَهَا مِائَةً»
It is narrated from Hazrat Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) that a man married a woman, and after consummation, he found her to be pregnant. The matter was brought to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and he separated the two, fixed the dowry, and ordered that the woman be given a hundred lashes.
