حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنَ النَّمِرِ بْنِ قَاسِطٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ صُهَيْبَ بْنَ سِنَانٍ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَصْدَقَ امْرَأَةً صَدَاقًا وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مِنْهُ أَنَّهُ لَا يُرِيدُ أَدَاءَهُ إِلَيْهَا فَغَرَّهَا بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَاسْتَحَلَّ فَرْجَهَا بِالْبَاطِلِ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ يَلْقَاهُ وَهُوَ زَانٍ، وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ ادَّانَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ دَيْنًا وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لَا يُرِيدُ أَدَاءَهُ إِلَيْهِ، فَغَرَّهُ بِاللَّهِ وَاسْتَحَلَّ مَالَهُ بِالْبَاطِلِ، لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ يَلْقَاهُ وَهُوَ سَارِقٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Suhaib bin Sinan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gives a woman a dowry, and Allah knows that he will not pay that dowry, and thus deceives the woman and marries her, he will meet Allah in the state of being an adulterer. And whoever takes a loan from someone with the intention of not repaying it, he will be a thief in the sight of Allah."
