When Sayyiduna ‘Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) made a judgment for four hundred and eighty dirhams, Sayyiduna ‘Amr bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) sent him thirty thousand. ‘Adi distributed all of it among those who were present, and he was also wearing a cloak over himself. When ‘Amr bin Harith learned that everything had been distributed, he sent the dowry for his daughter and the things she needed. The name of that girl was Asadah bint ‘Adi.
