حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ بُكَيْرَ بْنَ الْأَشَجِّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَنْكَحَ ابْنَةً لَهُ وَهِيَ كَارِهَةٌ، فَأَدْرَكَتْ وَهُيَ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَحْتَقَّ نَفْسَهَا، فَرُفِعَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، فَأَبْطَلَ نِكَاحَهُ "
Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) annulled the marriage of a girl whose marriage had been contracted against her will.
