Hadith 1744

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: أنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ " أَنَّ خَنْسَاءَ بِنْتَ خِدَامٍ زَوَّجَهَا أَبُوهَا وَقَدْ كَانَتْ مَلَكَتْ أَمْرَهَا، وَأَنَّهَا كَرِهَتْ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلَ، فَسَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ أَبِي زَوَّجَنِي رَجُلًا وَلَسْتُ أُرِيدُهُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَمْرُكِ بِيَدِكِ» . فَخَطَبَهَا أَبُو لُبَابَةَ فَتَزَوَّجَهَا، فَوَلَدَتِ السَّائِبَ بْنَ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ "
Lady Khansa bint Khidam (may Allah be pleased with her) complained to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that her father had married her to an undesirable person. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The matter is in your hands."
