حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، نا هُشَيْمٌ، أنا عُبَيْدَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: «لَا تُنْكَحُ الْيَتِيمَةُ حَتَّى تُسْتَأْمَرَ، وَسُكُوتُهَا رِضَاهَا»
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The marriage of an orphan girl should not take place without her permission; her silence is her consent."
